Wafeer Closing
Tamkeen Sustainability Advisors hands over the final Wafeer report to the Ministry of Water and Electricity (MoWE) after its launch in the Saudi Water and Power forum (SWPF) 2007 during the Water Reuse and Environmental Management session.

The initiative is the first of its kind as it targets water consumption in the industrial sector. Wafeer experts took 13 plants as a sample (pilot projects) where it implemented water recycling mechanism and measured the percentage of wasted water and related wasted money as a result of the weakness in the implementation of contingency plans to protect water and benefit from water treatment and recycling.

During the closing of this session Tamkeen's Founder and CEO, Asya Alashaikh awarded Wafeer's sponsors and success stories for their kind contribution, commitment and support.
