1st CSR National Team - Sultan Foundation
Based on the findings of the first CSR study conducted by Tamkeen, most of the top 100 companies' CSR programs seem to be ad-hoc. Programs do not necessarily fall under the company's strategy and in most cases are not in line with the company's activity/industry. Yet, the same study showed that companies have the good will, the values, and the budget for "GIVING", while the country needs the "intelligent giving" that supports sustainable development. Among the main findings, there is a need to create a platform for CSR in terms of: awareness, directions, priorities and aligning corporate efforts in supporting the countries development strategy and plans.

In that context Tamkeen Sustainability Advisors set out join forces and created the first national CSR Team under the umbrella and direction of Sultan Foundation. The team joins leading companies, Chamber of Commerce (Riyadh, Dammam), NGO (Sultan Foundation), and Tamkeen Sustainability Advisors.
